None of us are immune to suffering in life. But even in our suffering, God is at work in our lives to grow and mature us. Join us as we explore the theme of suffering found throughout the Scriptures. In this study, we will work through portions of Job, Psalms, and stories of women in the New Testament. Discover what God’s Word says about suffering and the amazing power of His grace and goodness in our suffering.Â
This study is the result of some of the things the Lord has taught me over the last three years beginning with my near-death COVID hospitalization and subsequent cancer diagnosis. I have seen the goodness of God and experienced His abundant grace…and continue to do so! My cancer journey will be a lifelong one. Currently there is no evidence of active cancer in my body, but it is an incurable cancer, and I will remain on monthly chemo treatments for life. This has certainly changed my life and I am learning to live in this “new normal.” But the Lord is using this newness to continually draw me unto Himself and keep me close. I am so grateful the Lord chose to spare my life and that He allows me to continue to teach His Word and pour into the lives of other women.
I pray that the Lord might encourage you as you dig into His word and and experience the nearness and power of His presence in your life.
Rejoicing in Christ Jesus, Always!
